Reflecting on 16 years of experience as an HR professional in Omega, the journey has been one of profound growth, adaptation, and contributions. Starting from an entry-level position, I have navigated through various roles, each adding a unique layer to my expertise and understanding of human resource management.The early years were focused on learning and implementing core HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, HR Shared Services, HR Business partner, Vendor Management, Invoicing, ERS processing and employee relations under Talent Management. This period was crucial in building a solid foundation of knowledge and skills, setting the stage for more complex responsibilities. As I progressed, I took on leadership roles, driving strategic initiatives and HR automations. One of the most significant aspects of my journey has been adapting to the evolving landscape of HR, especially with the advent of digital transformation and remote work.

Leading the company through these changes required innovations, resilience, and a deep commitment to maintaining employee engagement and well-being. Furthermore, being part of the company’s growth from a mid-sized enterprise to a leading industry player has been immensely rewarding. Despite initially keeping my health battles private, I eventually found the courage to share my story with my Team Leader, leading to a wave of compassion and assistance that carried me through my toughest days. With determination and the invaluable support of my Omega family, I faced each obstacle head-on, culminating in a triumphant kidney transplant. This journey taught me that amidst adversity, resilience and gratitude are our greatest allies.
